Precision Optics Corporation Announces Receipt of $1M New Medical Instrument Order

GARDNER, Mass., Dec. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Precision Optics Corporation, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: POCI.OB) Since February of 2006 Precision Optics Corporation has shipped numerous prototypes of an advanced surgical visualization system to a significant new customer. As a result of successful evaluations of these prototypes and a rigorous audit of the Company's quality system and processes, Precision Optics Corporation is pleased to announce the receipt of initial production orders totaling over $1 million. Production activities in support of this effort are to begin during the quarter ending 30 December 2006 and to be completed by 1 June 2007. Possible follow-on orders after 1 June will be dependent upon market acceptance and other considerations at that time and no assurances regarding any such orders can be made.
