Airpath Appoints Two High Performing Executives to Leadership Team To Expand Sales and Global Marketing Programs

Top Telecom and Wireless Talent From AT&T, GRIC Communications, Proficient Networks and Sprint Join Rapid Growth Business
Airpath, Inc., the leader in Wi-Fi management systems, announced the appointment of two high performing telecom industry veterans, Michael McNamara and Laura Mellow, to its executive team as vice presidents of sales and global marketing, respectively.
In his position as vice president of sales for the Americas, McNamara will use his strategic sales experience and knowledge of the carrier and data networking industries to further expand Airpath's sales in the rapidly growing wireless marketplace throughout the Americas.
In her position as vice president of global marketing, Mellow will oversee all facets of corporate and product marketing, working closely with the executive team on corporate strategy as well as product developers to further expand Airpath's product and customer base.

Prior to joining Airpath, Mellow was a partner of the tech consulting firm Velocity Consulting. Before Velocity Consulting, Mellow led GRIC Communications' Mobile Office business unit as general manager and vice president of product marketing. She previously served as executive director of carrier relations and product marketing for Iridium, LLC. Earlier in her 15-year professional career, Mellow worked for AT&T as product marketing manager, global communications services. She holds an MBA in international business from George Washington University and a BS/BA from The American University.
McNamara brings 15 years of sales and management experience in the carrier and data networking industries. Mike built a decade long career with Sprint Corporation where he was promoted to Director of Sales for the Great Lakes Region and managed teams responsible for $250 million in sales. Next he served as GiantLoop Network's eastern region vice president for sales, and most recently as a sales executive for Proficient Networks. McNamara holds a BS in Finance from University of Connecticut.
