GDC Expands Enterprise Connectivity Options With New InnovX NetPath Series of IP Networking Products

General DataComm, Inc. (GNRD), a leading provider of networking services and technology to telecommunications carriers and enterprise users, has introduced an expanded line of IP networking products for use in the deployment and support of enterprise applications.
GDC's new InnovX(R) NetPath series provides users with a wide range of products and features that support the most recent advances in networking technology for wireline and wireless local area, wide area and wireless data, and VoIP networks. Enhancements to GDC's existing InnovX product line include:
InnovX(R) NetPath DSLAM-48
-- ADSL2+ DSLAM with an IP uplink, supporting up to 48 ports
InnovX(R) NetPath ADSL/ADSL2+
-- ADSL/ADSL2+ subscriber site router that delivers both extended range and downstream speeds of up to 26 Mbps.
InnovX(R) NetPath 24+
-- Ethernet switch that supports load balancing and granular QoS
InnovX(R) NetPath DSL
-- Subscriber site DSL router that supports VPN and encryption
InnovX(R) NetPath VPN
-- Full-featured and flexible dynamic router with support for up to 100 VPN tunnels, built-in firewall, and an onboard CSU/DSU compatible with T1/FT1 and E1/FE1
InnovX(R) NetPath SOHO
-- A solution for high-demand SOHO wireless networks with 802.11a/b/g, providing up to 50 Mbps throughput.
"The addition of these new products to our InnovX product suite will provide both carriers and enterprise users new options and expanded capabilities in terms of throughput and security," said George Gray, chief technology officer at General DataComm, Inc.
"Enterprise users can also take advantage of GDC's full line of Professional Network Services, including installation, network design, on-site maintenance, customized training programs, product repair and network management via GDC's Network Operations Center (NOC)."
The InnovX NetPath products will be released for shipment over the next 2 months. Demonstration units are available now.
