Local Dippin' Dots(R) Franchisees Honored at National Meeting

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C., Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Dippin' Dots Franchising, Inc. presented area franchisees, Richard Jenkins and Randy and Becky Pritchard with three sales and operational achievement awards at the company's annual meeting recently.

Jenkins and the Pritchards, who have been Dippin' Dots franchisees since 2002, were presented with the Apex Award for the second consecutive year at the company's annual meeting in November. The Apex Award is given to the franchisee who achieves the highest sales performance during the '05-'06 year.

With nine separate locations, Jenkins and the Pritchards depend on their local managers for support in achieving their sales goals. In recognition of their achievement, Store Managers Betty Livengood and Doretha Jackson were recognized by Jenkins and the Pritchards as their local "Managers of the Year." Both were rewarded with an invitation to attend the Las Vegas convention, compliments of Jenkins and the Pritchards.

In addition to earning the highest sales, Jenkins and the Pritchards also incurred the largest increase in sales in a medium market during the '05-'06 year, earning them their first Business Builder Award.

Jenkins and the Pritchards also received the Sphere of Merit Award for the second consecutive year. The Sphere of Merit Award recognizes franchisees who distinguish themselves by excelling operationally in all facets of the business.

Jenkins and the Pritchards own and operate nine Dippin' Dots mall location throughout North Carolina and Virginia. They also provide Dippin' Dots for parties, fairs and events.
