MicroTel International Inc. Announces the Company's 2004 Second Quarter Conference Call

MicroTel International Inc. (OTCBB:MCTL), an international manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic components and subsystems and communication equipment, today announced that it will be holding a conference call to discuss the company's 2004 second quarter financial results on Aug. 17, 2004, at 11:30 a.m. EDT (8:30 a.m. PDT).

The company will also release its second quarter 2004 financial results in a press release on Aug. 17, 2004, and will file its 10-Q by Aug. 16, 2004.

To participate in the conference call, dial the following phone number 5 to 10 minutes prior to the scheduled conference call, 877-407-8035. International callers should dial 201-689-8035. There is no pass code required for this call.

Randolph D. Foote, MicroTel's CFO said: "MicroTel's original schedule called for this conference to be on August 10. However, we chose to delay the conference call in order to accumulate post-closing information regarding our recent acquisition of Larus Corporation which we will discuss in the conference call."

This conference call will also be broadcast live over the Internet and can be accessed at www.vcall.com. To listen to the live call, go to the Web site at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the call to register, download and install any necessary audio software.

For those unable to participate during the live broadcast, a replay will be available shortly after the call on the Vcall site for 90 days. Also, for 24 hours after the conference call, a replay will be available by dialing the toll-free number, 877-660-6853, and for international callers, 201-612-7415. The conference ID number of "114757" and account number of "1628" should be used to access the recording by phone.
