ChinaCache Establishes Strategic Partnership With China CERNET Network

ChinaCache to Provide CDN Services to China CERNET nationwide customers
BEIJING, Jan. 3 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- ChinaCache, the leading content distribution network (CDN) service provider in China, today announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with China CERNET Network Limited. Under the terms of the agreement, ChinaCache will provide CDN solutions to CERNET Network to serve its nationwide customers. ChinaCache will set up CDN service nodes at CERNET Network's data centers across the country.
Entrusted by the Chinese Ministry of Education, CERNET Network is the executing body of China Education and Research Network (CERNET) which provides network, technology and information services to more than 1,500 education and research institutions across the country. Its nationwide backbone network now covers more than 200 cities in 31 provinces.
