Infragistics Officially Opens for Business in Tokyo
PRINCETON, N.J. & TOKYO, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ — Infragistics, the world’s largest publisher of reusable presentation layer development tools for Windows Forms, ASP.NET, Tablet PC and Java, is pleased to announce the official opening of their newest local office in Tokyo, Japan, as a subsidiary of Infragistics, Inc. The new subsidiary, Infragistics Japan, is led by Managing Director David Keuning, formerly a U.S.-Japanese business consultant who’s worked with PacRim Marketing, Inovaware, Postcard Software, and Sony Corporation. Building on Infragistics’ ten-year presence in Japan, Infragistics Japan is taking over sales and support from former APAC reseller GrapeCity in order to bring premium products, support and service to the Japanese component industry. Infragistics Japan expects to optimize the Japanese version of NetAdvantage for the Japanese market, providing faster release cycles, more innovation and responsiveness to Japanese feature requests, and delivering world-class product support through direct telephone support for Infragistics Japan customers. Infragistics Japan will honor existing service and support of Infragistics products previously purchased through GrapeCity.

A Japanese-language Website is also available both for product information and localized e-commerce sales. Back office integration, including a Japanese- localized usage of Microsoft CRM and accounting has also been completed.
