Details of the alleged abduction of 15-year-old Shawn Hornbeck are coming out slowly as the boy adjusts to life with his real Missouri family.

Hornbeck was returned to his family after spending the last four years as a captive — the last four days of it with 13-year-old William Ownby, also allegedly abducted.

Hornbeck’s alleged captor, 41-year-old Michael Devlin, was arrested and is being held on $1 million bail.

CNN reported Monday prosecutors say more charges are likely for Devlin, whom friends and coworkers said introduced Hornbeck as his son. Police also believe Hornbeck may have had Internet access while living in Devlin’s apartment and may have posted on a Web site his parents set up.

Witnesses told CNN that Shawn Hornbeck had plenty of unsupervised time while he was living in Devlin’s apartment, and investigators are having trouble figuring out why he did not use those opportunities to escape.

Devlin has not spoken publicly about the incident, CNN reported.
