Utah Hispanic Chamber Offers 2007 Business Directory
By The Salt Lake Tribune
Jan. 17–The Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has produced its first directory of members, most of whom are businesses along the Wasatch Front.
The Salt Lake City-based chamber has 250 members, including 100 added in the past year. Many are Latino-owned businesses. Others are companies that want to develop ties to the Latino community in Utah, said executive director Carlos Linares.
The 42-page directory “is a benefit to our members. It should serve as a directory for products and services that they would seek. It also highlights the businesses in our area,” Linares said.
The directory is available at no charge to nonmembers. Copies can be picked up at the chamber office, 1635 S. Redwood Road. The telephone number is 532-3308. Linares said the directory, produced by MediaOne of Utah, will be expanded next year. It will list members of the Ogden Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Utah County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
MediaOne is a Newspaper Agency Corporation company. NAC publishes The Salt Lake Tribune.
