Enure Networks, the developer of the world's only solution capable of completely automating the entire home network environment, today announced it is the recipient of Frost & Sullivan's 2006 Award for Technology Innovation for its industry. The award is presented to the company that has demonstrated technological superiority within its industry. It recognizes the ability of the company to successfully develop and introduce new technology, formulate a well-designed product family, and make significant product-performance contributions to the industry.
To identify the recipient of this award, the Frost & Sullivan analyst team tracks emerging and existing technologies, as well as R&D developments. This is accomplished through interviews with major market participants and extensive secondary research. Also considered are elements such as product launches, customer acceptance, penetration rates, and time to market.
"Broadband carriers face the intricate issue of supporting broadband services for their users," commented Eduardo G. Kibel, Frost & Sullivan industry analyst. "Due to the users' lack of technical knowledge and the escalating complexity of the home environment, users overflow the call center with requests for help. Enure Networks' solution has demonstrated a strong promise to automatically assume care of home broadband services, positively impacting both the user experience and service provider's operations."
Enure Networks Award-Winning Products
In June 2006, Enure Networks announced its software called Service Shield™, the world's first product capable of completely automating the setup, configuration, repair and total management of home networks and broadband services. It shields consumers from underlying technical complexities involved in home networking. Once installed in the home, Enure's software completely manages the home network inconspicuous to the user. It eliminates the need for consumers to understand complex set up, configuration, management or repair processes. The software actually fixes any network problem, no matter what its origins are, in real time. The repair process can also be made completely transparent to users, if the service provider chooses, making it possible that a user may never know they had a problem. This leads to unprecedented home services reliability and Quality of Experience (QoE).
Telecommunications service providers and cable multi-service operators (MSO) that offer Enure's software, as part of a new service bundling or for download to existing customers, stand to gain several advantages. Using Enure's breakthrough technology, it dramatically reduces customer support costs related to fixing broadband access problems. In fact, the software can easily reduce technical support inquiries by more than 60 percent. Such a dramatic improvement in reliability and availability of the home environment results in greater user satisfaction and loyalty. Building this loyalty today, with Enure-enabled home environment reliability, establishes the user/service provider relationship desired to deliver next generation services such as Voice-over-IP (VoIP), Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), and quadruple-play.
Enure also offers a back-end product -- the True Information & Control (TIC)™ System. It allows unequaled visibility to customer premise equipment (CPE) inventory, root-cause problems and fixes occurring in the home, remote control, and more. Thus, it empowers proactive rather than reactive service remediation. This includes the ability to spot problem trends and patterns and the ability to push firmware/software updates without interrupting customers. Policy enforcement, such as bandwidth allocation, for advanced services like VoIP and IPTV is also possible.
"There's a lot at stake for service providers seeking to deploy and deliver services over complex home networks," said David Sayag, Founder and VP of Marketing, Enure Networks. "It then becomes paramount that service providers gain some control over infrastructure in the home, where costly technical support issues arise. Enure's solution can actually offer total end-to-end automation to resolve problems in the home without user intervention and before they reach technical support. We're excited that Frost & Sullivan recognizes the importance of our approach to enabling a truly simplified home networking environment."
