"Sprint technicians continue to work tirelessly to restore service to customers impacted by Hurricane Charley," said Charles Rehwinkel, vice president - External Affairs, Sprint. "Sprint is approaching the point where we've been able to restore service to our main infrastructure. What we need now is for customers to call and let us know if their phone service is not working, or if their home was destroyed or damaged so we can go over with them Sprint's plan to temporarily suspend their service and arrange for service at a transitional location," said Rehwinkel. "We have brought in additional support to help with the anticipated increase of repair requests and appreciate our customer's patience as we work diligently to resolve them."
