WHISHER Re-Loads Wi-Fi: New One-Click Service Combines Shared Wireless Access With Social Networks

PALM DESERT, Calif. and BARCELONA, Spain, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- DEMO Conference '07 -- WHISHER, a newly launching Spanish company, today unveiled a completely new approach to Wi-Fi, offering an online software application, that's free, fast and easy-to-use, while also providing a slew of social networking features designed to enhance wireless communication. The new service enables people to quickly tap into the best wireless resources in their proximity, while offering all connected "WHISHERS" free perks within the application, such as Instant Messaging, file sharing, direct access to local services and the ability to set up their own micro community networks.
