IIJ-Tech Invests in DreamArts

Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (“IIJ”, NASDAQ: IIJI, TSE1: 3774), one of Japan’s leading Internet-access and comprehensive network solutions providers, today announced that IIJ Technology Inc. (“IIJ-Tech”), IIJ’s 72.1% owned subsidiary, acquired a 17.1% of stake in DreamArts Corporation (“DreamArts”) on January 31, 2007.

Through this investment, IIJ-Tech will seek synergies between its expertise in IP network engineering and systems construction, and DreamArts’ expertise in the development and sales of business applications and group software. IIJ-Tech also plans to enhance cooperation with DreamArts in the systems integration business.
