A CHURCH is considering banning raffles and tombolas from its fetes for fear they might spark gambling addiction. The issue has split the congregation of the United Reformed Church in Kelvedon, Essex. Supporters see the games as harmless fun but opponents claim they send out the wrong message about gambling.
