Comcast Communications Corp. has launched a new high-speed tier option for its Lancaster County high-speed Internet service customers.
Comcast now offers cable broadband Internet access with a download speed of four megabits per second. The upgrade comes a year after the company doubled its download speed to three megabits per second.
Comcast high-speed Internet customers have a choice between two high-speed options; the monthly fee for current cable television customers is $42.95 for 3Mbps and $52.95 for 4Mbps service.
