Unify Corp. (OTCBB:UNFY), a global provider of enterprise software, today announced it has entered into an exclusive OEM agreement with HiT Software to provide DBMoto, a real-time database replication and synchronization solution, to SQLBase database customers. The availability of DBMoto for SQLBase will enable customers to integrate and share data among geographically dispersed and heterogeneous databases, as well as quickly implement database replication for disaster recovery and server failure.

“For our many SQLBase customers who have thousands of applications running in SQLBase, DBMoto will enable them to easily integrate with the enterprise databases centralized in the corporate data center,” said Duane George, vice president of development and technical services for Unify. “DBMoto enables our customers to share data across database platforms and geographies while ensuring data accuracy, integrity and real-time availability through synchronization and replication among SQLBase, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.”

DBMoto performs snapshot and real-time data replication for enterprise database server and desktop database replication needs. DBMoto supports large database deployments, such as a sales force database solution running on individual field sales laptops with the need to synchronize to a central database once or twice a day to receive corporate updates and upload orders taken during the day. Another common replication requirement is to duplicate the databases of subsidiaries and distributed offices with a central database within the headquarters’ datacenter.

“Organizations want to ensure that users have instant and reliable access to the latest information for rapid decision making and business agility. This often involves dissemination of data from corporate databases,” said Giacomo Lorenzin, CEO for HiT Software. “DBMoto will provide an immediate benefit to SQLBase customers seeking high-performance, secure and non-disruptive database integration.”

In addition to integration between corporate and distributed field offices and subsidiaries, DBMoto creates hot-backups of production databases that take over database services when the main system fails. Key features of DBMoto include:

Real-time mirroring (transactional replication)

Full refresh replication (snapshot replication)

Synchronization mode, no programming needed

Graphical set-up tools for ease of use

Full customization via scripting

Built-in custom transformation functions

DBMoto for SQLBase is now available. More information can be found at www.guptaworldwide.com.
