Feb. 9–The wife of Baseline Killer suspect Mark Goudeau has created a Web site in which she berates police as well as the county attorney’s office for his arrest and cites recent sexual assaults in Chandler as proof that the predator is still out there. Wendy Carr’s 42-year-old husband was arrested in September and faces 94 charges in connection with the series of crimes.

Carr, of Phoenix, has a copyright on the Web page, www.markgoudeauinnocent.com, which features a forum and a photo gallery of the couple’s life together, including one of the pair on a horseback ride.

“Friends, neighbors, relatives, supporters and spouse have set up this Web site for Mark Goudeau, an innocent man wrongfully charged with the Baseline crimes,” the site’s opening page reads.

Carr claims the crimes committed by the Baseline Killer have not stopped and points to news articles that detail sexual assaults in Chandler and killings in Phoenix.

“Because it would undermine their theory that Mark Goudeau is guilty, the police will never admit that there are further crimes that can be linked to the continuing ‘Baseline’ crimes,” the site reads.

Goudeau was arrested on suspicion of raping two sisters in September 2005.

The charges in the other victims’ cases range from nine counts of first-degree murder to child molestation and burglary.

The Baseline Killer crime spree had residents and police on edge as a predator in disguise committed rapes, robberies and slayings from August 2005 to June 29, 2006.
