Posted on: Monday, 12 February 2007, 03:04 CST
SEVEN, the global market leader in push email software, and Miyowa, the European leader in mobile instant messaging and entertainment for communities, today announced a partnership to provide a unified messaging experience for mobile consumers. The partnership provides immediate availability of their combined offerings to customers in Europe and Asia.
Push Email and Mobile Instant Messaging Made Simple
The integrated messaging offering combines SEVEN's push email solution, controlling more than 65 percent of the white-label push email market, with Miyowa's mobile instant messaging-rich solution widely used across Europe and Asia.
SEVEN's push email solution powers white-labeled offerings for more than 100 operators and supports over 200 mobile phone models. The solution provides simple one-click access to personal and work email accounts, enabling access to email, contact information, and calendar from a mobile phone. The solution accommodates multiple email accounts, including popular email providers and corporate email servers.
Miyowa has created and commercialized the first universal mobile IM technology: MoveMessenger™. The MoveMessenger interface, which is familiar to PC users, allows mobile phone users to access their preferred IM and multimedia content as easily as they could on a PC. MoveMessenger™ is handset independent and compatible with the current standards (Jabber, Wireless Village and Windows Live Messenger). With the support of popular IM brands (Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo and Skyrock), Miyowa's white-labeled offering can be implemented at nearly any operator along with accessible hotline support for operators around the clock.
"Mobile instant messaging has taken its place in our everyday messaging suite," said Ross Bott, CEO of SEVEN. "Miyowa's innovative solution complements our vision to provide access to messaging for everyone. We are very excited to partner with Miyowa and provide our customers with an integrated messaging solution that will provide easy access and a simple interface."
"Mobile email has entered a strong growth phase," said Pascal Lorne, CEO of Miyowa. "We are pleased to be able to extend the benefits of SEVEN's world renowned push email offering to our customer base and provide a full messaging suite to mass market devices."
