Clean Systems Technology Group Expands European Operations

Posted on: Tuesday, 29 July 2003, 06:00 CDT

KIRYAT GAT, Israel & NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 29, 2003--

Italian Subsidiary Forms Integral Part of Company's Strategy

of Growth Through Expansion In New Geographical Markets

Clean Systems Technology Group Ltd ("CSTI") (OTC:CSTM.OB), a leading provider of total solutions for ultra-high pure gas and chemicals delivery systems today announced that Clean Systems Technology Fiber Srl, CSTI's wholly owned subsidiary based in Milan, Italy, is now ready to expand operations and has already completed several projects in the European market.

The processing industries for fiber optics and microelectronics are increasingly global markets. For example, in the semiconductor industry, leading U.S.-based manufacturers are today located all over the world. There are approximately 70 fabrication facilities in the USA, as well as another estimated 68 in foreign countries, including 8 now in China.

These multi-million dollar fabrication facilities, or fabs, are the manufacturing plants where the front-end process of making semiconductors on silicon wafers is completed. Each of these fabs requires the expert process tools and solutions offered by CSTI. This global market, including the emerging markets in Russia, and China, could lead to very significant additional sources of projects and revenues.

CSTI has recently submitted bids totaling $80 million to implement its sophisticated total solutions aimed at the fiber optic and micro-electronic industries. These solutions offer many advantages over current products on the market and are expected to become the industry-leader in the multi-billion dollar market for fabrication process tools.

CSTI's Italian subsidiary is an integral part of the Company's strategy of growth through expansion in new geographical markets. CSTI has already successfully completed projects in Italy, Scandinavia, and Germany, as well as in Israel, India, and the USA.

"The global recession led to the postponement of projects by our major customers. As the global market for our products now begins to recover, our Milan office is well positioned to rebuild sales and expand into new markets," said Mr. Jacob Lustgarten, President of CSTI. "Our European base reinforces CSTI as a world player, and improves our capacity to provide our sophisticated solutions to leading local and multi-national companies."
