Head of Nokia's Global Software Developer Program to Keynote UT-Austin's 'Women in Business Leadership Conference'

Nokia (NYSE:NOK) executive Lee Epting, head of the global mobile phone manufacturer's worldwide developer support program, will present the Keynote address at the 2007 Women in Business Leadership Conference, presented annually by UT-Austin's McCombs School of Business.

Ms. Epting's Keynote talk, scheduled for 12 noon on Friday, Feb. 16, at the Austin Convention Center, will address this year's conference theme of "Defy Your Limits." The Women in Business Leadership Conference, hosted each year since 2002 by the MBA program at the McCombs School, seeks to cultivate the MBA women's community, enhance career networks for women and recognize the unique strengths women bring to business.

A software developer relations executive with two decades of experience in the technology sector, Ms. Epting leads Nokia's global software developer support program, Forum Nokia, where she is responsible for driving the business connections between the organization and its more than 2.5 million registered software developers, mobile network operators, content owners and aggregators and enterprises around the globe.

At Nokia, Ms. Epting has been instrumental in defining and creating a system that enables developers to efficiently and conveniently create mobile software applications that target mass volumes with minimal customization and maximum profit potential. She has participated as a Nokia representative in mobile industry groups responsible for creation of software technical initiatives and she serves on the Board of Symbian Ltd., the U.K.-based company which creates and licenses the market-leading smartphone operating system, Symbian OS.

Epting speaks regularly at technology and telecommunications industry conferences and recently represented Nokia at the World Wide Web Conference 2006 in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she announced Nokia's contribution to the global open-source community of the core engine code for its leading mobile "Web Browser for S60." Other recent industry conference participation includes presentations at the annual 2005 Evans Data Developer Relations Conference and the Wireless Developer Forum @ 3GSM World Congress 2004.
