Juniper Content Corporation Establishes Los Angeles Presence With Affiliate Sales Appointment

Juniper Content Corporation (OTCBB:JNPC) ("Juniper"), the media and entertainment company which owns and operates Firestone Communications and the Sorpresa! Network, announced today that Maria D. Gomez has joined Firestone as Vice President of Affiliate Sales. In this newly created position, she will be responsible for developing and executing sales and distribution plans and subscriber growth initiatives for Sorpresa! Ms. Gomez, who will be based in Los Angeles, CA, reports to recently hired Bob Mann, Senior Vice President of Affiliate Sales.
Ms. Gomez comes to Sorpresa! with over 25 years of domestic and international experience in the cable industry with a focus on Latin American and Hispanic programming sales. "Maria is a terrific addition to Sorpresa's! management team,"commented Stuart B. Rekant, Juniper's Chairman and CEO and CEO of Firestone Communications. "We look forward to Maria's immediate contribution to Sorpresa's! growth as we benefit from her successful track record of obtaining DBS and cable carriage for Spanish language networks."
Ms. Gomez held similar sales positions with Castalia Communications which distributed programming for eight ethnic channels including experience promoting the creation of MexicCanal on the West Coast. She also held affiliate sales positions for Latin America, Mexico and West Coast regions for CMT International, CBS TeleNoticias, Universal Electronics, GEMS and Nostalgia Television Networks.
