American Express Adds Delta Air Lines to Its International Airline Program

NEW YORK, Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- American Express announced today that it has added Delta Air Lines to its International Airline Program (IAP), available exclusively to Platinum Card and Centurion Card members. The International Airline Program, which now includes 18 partners, is available when booking through Platinum Travel Services and Centurion Travel Services. It enables Card members to receive a complimentary companion ticket on qualifying international flights with the purchase of a first or business class ticket, depending on the carrier(1). The addition of Delta brings new non-stop destinations to the program including Istanbul, Kiev, Budapest, Bucharest and certain destinations within the Caribbean and Mexico.

Through IAP, Centurion and Platinum Card members can receive the complimentary companion ticket benefit on any of the participating program partner airlines which include: AeroMexico, Air France, Air New Zealand, Alitalia, Asiana Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Emirates, Japan Airlines, Lan Airlines, Lufthansa, SAS, South African Airways, Swiss International Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic Airways. U.S. Cardmembers may use IAP as often as they like and enjoy the flexibility of a refundable ticket with no blackout dates.
