The Los Angeles salon where Britney Spears lost her locks set up a Web site auctioning the trashed tresses, clippers, a lighter, even a can of Red Bull.

The clipped curls had been posted on eBay, with proceeds going to a charity, but the ad Ester and J.T. Tognozzi posted was pulled, NBC News said Monday.

Spears visited Esther’s Haircutting Studio in Tarzana Friday where the singer’s bodyguard tipped the owners $50 so the pop star could shave her own head. Bids for the hair reached more than $1 million on the eBay site.

But Monday, the Tognozzis launched a new, official site, buybritneyshair.com, to resume the bidding. Potential customers won’t be bidding on just Britney’s hair — included in the package is a Red Bull can she allegedly drank, a blue cigarette lighter she left at the salon, plus this valuable domain and Web site to use for publicity purposes, the site read.

This is the ultimate Britney Spears Experience, the couple wrote on the site.

The Tognozzis again pledged that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charities but did not indicate which charities or how much would be donated.
