RUTHERFORD, N.J. and FAIRFAX, Va., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Broadmargin and Teldata Control, the top telecommunications expense management firms, today announced the completion of a merger that creates a clear leader in the growing telecom spend management market. The new company, Control Point Solutions, will manage more than $7 billion in telecommunications expenses for the large corporate, carrier, government and international markets.
The combined company, Control Point Solutions, offers a full suite of solutions to manage voice, data, wireless and equipment spend. "With billions of dollars of spend under management and clients in every vertical market, Control Point Solutions is the clear leader in telecom spend management," said Don Lynch, Control Point Solutions' chairman. The strengths created through consolidation signals the birth of a bona fide IT services market segment, which is expected to grow to $1.2 billion through 2008. The growth of the market is based entirely on industry's strong track record of delivering substantial savings on a company's telecom spend."
