Kofola Chooses IBM Lotus Notes &Amp; Domino Software

Kofola, a leading soft drink producer in Central and Eastern Europe, has chosen to implement an email and collaboration software solution based on IBM (NYSE: IBM) Lotus Notes & Domino 7.0.2. to increase efficiency and to improve and empower communication among sales teams on all levels and across all countries where Kofola is represented.
To meet the needs of Kofola's rapidly growing employee base, the company needed to purchase a customized IT solution for its internal networks to facilitate highly secure sharing of sensitive documents and operational information and fast communication among office workers and sales teams. It was also looking for a solution that could handle other additional specific business needs, especially those defined by company management.

Under the agreement, IBM will be delivering software technical support to Kofola for 5 years. IBM together with Czech and Slovak business partners will secure operations and especially solution development in order to increase the value of client's investment.
IBM will deliver 1150 clients of Lotus Notes 7.0.2 and 1150 clients of Lotus Sametime 7.5 within 5 years. IBM software will enable people in Kofola to manage increased flow of information and documents and to make more accurate decisions all around the company.
