Zephyr, a leading designer and manufacturer of design-centric, high-end kitchen ventilation hoods, today announced the launch of its new, dramatically redesigned Web site at www.zephyronline.com. Taking a non-traditional approach to Web site design, navigation and content, Zephyr has created a site that actively engages all users --- whether professional designers or consumers -- to experience a Web site as unique as the products it sells.
Beginning with the surprising and dynamic home page, the new site highlights Zephyr's recently launched brand identity and defines the company's three distinctive collections, which are tailored to the individual needs and tastes of its customers:

Designed and implemented by Loomis Group, the Zephyr Web site features three different navigation concepts.
The traditional navigation lets viewers use the familiar navigation bar at the top of each page to access product information.
The multi-dimensional approach enables users to move from page to page by clicking up, down or on the diagonal to a partially visible adjacent page. From there, they can drill down to the product or company information they want.
The exploratory navigation gives users an unprecedented Web site experience. By clicking on the graphical "site map" icon at the top of every page, they get a bird's-eye view of the entire site. Then, they can click on a specific icon "block" and go immediately to the page of their choice.
After exploring all the new design concepts, Zephyr site users can take the next step and focus in on specific range hood options that meet their unique needs and lifestyles. The site's "Help Me Choose" section lets users specify the exact criteria for their ideal hood by style, product line, price range, mounting method and blower type. It then automatically displays all the Zephyr models that fit the criteria. To complete the process, users can then click on "Where to Buy" to find the Zephyr retailers in their area.
