TNS Media Research Appoints Jeff Sohinki Director, Business Development

TNS Media Research, a world leader in video audience measurement, today announced the appointment of Jeff Sohinki as Director of Business Development. Jeff will be responsible for managing client sales and service for television programmers and advertisers utilizing new set-top box viewing data as well as InfoSys, TNS' state-of-the-art TV and radio audience analysis software. Jeff brings to TNS over 25 years of product, service, and media sales management experience in the television industry.
Jeff comes to TNS from Nielsen Media Research, where he managed four national offices as Senior Vice President of the company's Local Cable Division. At Nielsen, Jeff focused on sales, marketing, and product development for local cable operators, regional news, rep firms and sports channels nationwide. This included the national rollout of Local People Meters. Prior to Nielsen, Jeff founded and served as General Manager for The Boston Interconnect, a cable TV ad sales organization, now part of Comcast Spotlight. In seven years of operation, The Boston Interconnect grew from $1 million to $45 million in annual revenue. Other relevant experience includes Vice President, Add2Phone (an international mobile advertising firm); Senior Account Manager, Philadelphia Cable Advertising (one of the country's first cable interconnects); and Director of Marketing, CBS Inc. / WCAU-TV.
