ALLTEL, VALOR Telecom Extend Outsourcing Contract; Agreement Continues Relationship Through 2008

ALLTEL (NYSE:AT) today announced that VALOR Telecommunications, LLC, has extended its outsourcing contract for two more years, through December 2008. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Under the agreement, ALLTEL provides remote outsourcing of all production operations servicing VALOR Telecom's customer care, end-user billing, carrier access billing, operational support services and print/stuff/mail requirements. ALLTEL provides on-site account management services at VALOR's operations in Irving, Texas, and provides remote outsourcing through ALLTEL's solution center in Twinsburg, Ohio.
"ALLTEL's integrated solutions, coupled with their deep industry expertise, have effectively supported the full spectrum of VALOR's operations since our inception," said Cynthia B. Nash, senior vice president and chief information officer of VALOR. "This contract extension represents an ongoing commitment to our strategic business relationship and continued evolution of the services and systems ALLTEL provides."
VALOR has been an ALLTEL customer since January 2000. "ALLTEL's work with VALOR demonstrates our company's commitment to providing comprehensive customer-care and billing products to customers," said John Milligan, ALLTEL vice president of telecom services. "This is the second extension of this contract, a clear signal that ALLTEL provides the complete support our customers need to thrive in today's competitive telecom industry."
