AT&T Appoints New Wireless Network Operations Senior Manager for North, Central and West Florida

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AT&T Inc. announced today that Wendy Kropenick has been appointed to senior manager of wireless Network Operations for the company's North, Central and West Florida regions.
In her new role, Kropenick is responsible for implementing and maintaining core components of the wireless network to ensure quality performance. Kropenick has more than 20 years of experience in wireless system engineering and telecommunications management and most recently managed AT&T's wireless network operations in Puerto Rico.
Kropenick is a graduate of the University of West Florida and is the co- author of a U.S. patent related to wireless technology.
AT&T is the largest wireless carrier in the United States, serving 61 million customers. The company invested $242 million in its North, Central and West Florida wireless network last year upgrading and expanding service, including the launch of its Third Generation (3G) mobile broadband network. The local investment is part of the company's $400 million statewide wireless network investment and $6 billion national wireless network capital expenditure program in 2006.
