RadiSys Names Anthony Ambrose Vice President and General Manager of Communications Networks

HILLSBORO, Ore., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- RadiSys(R) Corporation , a leading global provider of advanced embedded solutions, today announced Anthony Ambrose has been named Vice President and General Manager of its Communications Networks business. Ambrose brings to RadiSys more then 23 years of engineering, development, sales and marketing experience, as well as deep expertise and market knowledge in the embedded, telecommunications and ATCA markets. In his new role, Ambrose will manage ATCA and core networks products.

Prior to joining RadiSys, Ambrose served as General Manager of the Modular Communications Platform Division (MCPD) at Intel Corporation. In this most recent role at Intel, his organization had the responsibility for communication servers, hardware and software including Intel's ATCA product portfolio. Ambrose previously led processor marketing and strategy for the enterprise server business, establishing the Xeon processor as a multi billion dollar business. Anthony also has extensive experience in engineering and account management. Ambrose holds a Bachelors of Science in Engineering from Princeton University, graduating Magna cum Laude.
