Datran Media VP of Media Services, Jason Oates, to Lead Triggered Email Interactive Lab at the 2007 Marketing Sherpa Email Summit
Posted on: Tuesday, 27 February 2007, 09:00 CST
Jason Oates, Datran Media's vice president of media services, a leading provider of performance-based email marketing solutions, will lead an interactive lab at the 2007 Marketing Sherpa Email Summit + Bootcamp, Awards & Expo. The session is designed for marketing professionals who wish to gain hands-on experience and expert advice on triggered and automated email campaigns and takes place twice per day on both March 5 and March 6.
Results from the Q4 2006 Datran Media survey indicate that marketers are increasing their focus on and budgets for email marketing in 2007. Respondents also unanimously rated triggered campaigns as very important, and for good reason. Triggered and automated campaigns increase the relevance and timeliness of email messages, and they generate higher conversion and response rates than impersonal email blasts. Automated programs also free up resources and make the email team's job easier and more efficient.
During the session, Oates will educate Summit attendees on how they can make triggered and automated email work for their own prospective campaign ideas through hands-on interaction and expert consultation. Oates will be joined by Lending Tree Director of Database Marketing Jeff Riesenberg and Sourcefire Chief Marketing Officer Michele Perry who will share real-life case studies that exemplify the powerful results that can be achieved with triggered campaigns.
Oates has helped more than 50 brands earn substantial incremental revenue through marketing programs that span all online media types: email, search, display, contextual and behavioral. Datran Media is recognized for performance-based email marketing solutions that allow its customers to deliver timelier, more relevant communications across every touch point in the lifetime sales cycle.
The annual 2007 Marketing Sherpa Email Summit will attract 650 marketing professionals to Miami, March 4-6, where they will have access to 25 case studies, bootcamp training, four interactive labs, a deliverability clinic and a gala awards party.
