Marvell Announces Support for Microsoft Network Access Protection Technology

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Marvell , the leader in storage, communications, and consumer silicon solutions, today announced support for Microsoft Network Access Protection technology. By combining robust network security with Microsoft's Network Access Protection, Marvell Total Solution (MTS) multilayer switching products now provide security professionals with a comprehensive framework to implement various levels of security within their enterprise networks.

Network Access Protection is a policy enforcement technology built into the Windows Vista and Windows Server (code-named "Longhorn") operating systems that allows customers to better protect network assets from unhealthy computers by enforcing compliance with network health policies. Microsoft Network Access Protection technology is publicly available with trial versions of Windows Vista, and is available to select partners and customers with Beta 2 of the future version of Windows Server "Longhorn."
Marvell Total Solution (MTS) products are production-ready software and silicon designed for all segments of enterprise infrastructure switching. MTS products feature a comprehensive suite of advanced security technologies to protect data, network users, and the network infrastructure, as well as robust Quality of Service (QoS) for IP applications including voice, video, and mission critical data services. MTS products utilizing Microsoft Network Access Protection are currently available.
