New Internet Video Company Offers Online Video Web Sites for Sale

Empire Zoom, a new company specializing in professionally produced online video content, is announcing an acquisition package that includes two fully developed video-based Web sites.
"This is an opportunity to get into the exploding world of online video, without dealing with the time-consuming and difficult development process," said Mari Davis, President of Empire Zoom (www.empirezoom.com).
"These two entertainment-based Web sites can feature professionally produced video, as they do now, or can be turned into amateur video sites ... they can be adapted to whatever demographic the buyer prefers, with age-appropriate hosts and material ... they can be used as promotional vehicles for a company or can earn advertising revenue," Davis said. "And a whole series of online video sites can be based on these."
The acquisition package includes:
Two sites featuring professionally produced daily online video segments (www.jokeofthedayTV.com and www.funfactofthedayTV.com)
Eight related domains in the "ofthedayTV.com" series, on various topics
Intellectual property regarding the undeveloped domains
Site maintenance/transition (to be determined)
The sites are new, having launched at the beginning of December. In that time, they've received positive media attention from all over the country, both print and broadcast. Some radio stations report that they air the audio of the segments on a weekly -- and even daily -- basis. The sites' Alexa rankings have gone from 9.8 million at launch to in the 100- to 200-thousands now ... with almost no marketing.
"The sites were created to be sold, with the revenue to be used to develop new online video content and sites," said Davis. "It's a new paradigm for the Internet -- analogous to an author writing a book and then selling it to a publishing company, who will then market the book."
www.jokeofthedayTV.com and www.funfactofthedayTV.com feature:
a new joke/fun fact told on video every weekday
archives of past videos
text of current and past jokes/fun facts
an interactive rating system
"share a joke"/"share a fun fact" postings by site visitors
interactive funny quotes and Q&As; also, rotating puns and fast facts
the ability to accept viewer video submissions
More information regarding the sale is at www.empirezoom.com/sale.php. Empire Zoom, located in the Denver area, is available to maintain the sites and develop ongoing content, depending on the buyer's needs.
