New Radio Station Launched in Northeastern DRCongo

Text of report by Congolese radio from Goma on 1 March
The official launching of a new community radio station in Walikale, Nord-Kivu, was presided over by the Nord-Kivu divisional chief for information and media.
The new radio station started broadcasting civil education and news programmes, among others, two months ago.
On the same occasion a presentation marking the end of a training course for the first local journalists was attended by an RTNC journalist as well as a journalist from the written media.
