Grouper Appoints Shari Yoder Doherty Executive Director, Marketing & Communications

SAUSALITO, Calif., March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Grouper, one of the fastest growing user-generated video communities on the Internet, has appointed Shari Yoder Doherty to the newly created position of Executive Director, Marketing & Communications. The announcement was made today by Josh Felser, President and Co-Founder of Grouper.

In her role, effective immediately, Doherty will be responsible for driving all aspects of Grouper's marketing, including branding, partner marketing, promotions and public relations. She will be based at Grouper headquarters in Sausalito and report to Jonathan Shambroom, VP of Products & Marketing.

There she was responsible for directing and managing worldwide marketing, corporate communications, branding and public relations. Prior to that, she spent three years with Lucasfilm Ltd., managing domestic and international marketing programs.
