iNDELIBLE Media Creates New Face for Esquire.Com

NEW YORK, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- iNDELIBLE Media is pleased to announce the debut of its latest project, the newly revamped Esquire.com, the companion Web site to Esquire, the best-selling men's lifestyle magazine. Hearst Magazines turned to iNDELIBLE in February 2007 to give Esquire.com a much- needed visual and content make-over.
Esquire Web Editor Eric Gillin wanted a site where, "the main goal was to take those things that make Esquire magazine so great - vibrant photography, clean design, and incredible writing - and apply them to an online setting." He continued: "The end result is a site that features larger images and easy- to-read articles, all running on a platform that encourages users to dig deep into thousands upon thousands of articles."
With this in mind, iNDELIBLE worked with Esquire to create a more user- friendly, visually enhanced, content rich site by adding larger images, easier navigation, a new search engine function and creating an overall sleeker appearance.
Reminiscent of the magazine's nascent design, best known for its graphic covers and illustrations, Esquire.com is the magazine's digital great- grandchild (the magazine was founded in 1933). Invigorated with all the essentials to play with the big boys of the web, the new Esquire.com boasts cutting-edge design, no-nonsense navigation and bonus features (like free MP3 downloads, expanded versions of offline stories and podcasts) while maintaining the brand's longstanding stylistic integrity. Esquire wanted the new web site not only to store past and present editorials, but to also feature online-exclusive content. To house and draw attention to this unique content, iNDELIBLE worked with Gillin to create "The Side", a side-bar devoted to Esquire's take on current events and other musings.
"We are thrilled to be working with Esquire," says Ross Glick, President of iNDELIBLE Media, "We are positive the redesign of the site will introduce a new audience to the magazine brand. The site is much more than just an online representation of the print magazine - it's a full entertainment portal". iNDELIBLE hopes to work with more print publications in the future, helping them to secure an online following.
