Innovativ Names Tom Abato to National Software and Services Sales Manager Role

EDISON, N.J., March 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Innovativ (http://www.innovativ.com/), a leading solutions integrator in Identity Management, Business Intelligence, Data and Storage architectures, today announced the appointment of Tom Abato to the position of National Software and Services Sales Manager.

In this position, Abato will focus on developing key strategies to increase Innovativ's 2007 revenue from software license sales and related services, furthering the company's position as an experienced and trusted provider in the business solutions integration industry.

Abato has more than 20 years' experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining Innovativ, he provided consulting services to Verifichi Inc. Abato also spent more than 12 years with Sun Microsystems in various sales management positions, including National Software sales manager, where he was responsible for $60M in annual software revenues and maintaining both Distribution and Reseller/Integrator relationships across the U.S. Earlier roles at Sun Microsystems included National Telco sales specialist, AT&T District sales manager and Northeast Area software director. He led the Sun national software VAR council for three years and was a recipient of the SunRise award numerous times.

Abato earned a bachelor's of science degree in Computer Science and Finance from Wilkes University.
