Ekinops Establishes North American Customer Support Center in Dallas
Posted on: Thursday, 22 March 2007, 09:00 CDT
Ekinops, a rapidly growing designer and manufacturer of optical transport equipment and DWDM solutions, has announced today the opening of its North American customer support center in Dallas. Ekinops' new service center offers 24x7 support to assist the company's expanding roster of service providers and enterprise customers in the U.S., Canada and elsewhere in North and Central America.
The new center serves all of Ekinops' customers outside of Europe. It is the second support center for the maker of optical transport, DWDM, CWDM and aggregation equipment. The first is located at its headquarters, in Lannion, France. Other Ekinops offices in the U.S. are in California and the North East.
Ekinops chose to locate the center in Dallas because it is centrally located and a major transportation hub. It will allow support staff to travel quickly to customer sites or ship equipment for immediate delivery. Also, the area's reputation as the nucleus of the telecommunications industry made Dallas a logical choice.
"This support center broadens and fortifies Ekinops' commitment to our customers," said Jonathan Amir, Ekinops' vice president of sales for the Americas. "It reinforces our dedication to superior customer service and post-sales support in the same way we are dedicated to providing the highest quality optical products and solutions."
The Ekinops support program provides customers access to a staff of expert engineers and technical support specialists that provides direct technical support and assistance. That also includes in-depth customer training, done both in Dallas and at customers' sites.
The multi-tiered support program offers 24x7 or business hours phone access, a password-protected online documentation and software update website, advanced overnight equipment replacement, installation and turn-up services and more. It covers Ekinops' entire line of optical equipment.
