Patrick Going in Wrong Direction on Pike Tolls

March 23, 2007
Repost This

Maintaining the ludicrously expensive tolls on the Mass. Pike is so unjust. For Deval Patrick to ignore the rights and wrongs of the issue and bleat we need the revenue clearly shows his priorities. Taxpayers beware!

Being facetious, if this method of raising revenue is so useful, why not introduce tolls on all the major routes in and around Boston?

I hope Patrick never visits London; the so-called “civil servants” there really got creative. If you want to take your car into central London, you have to prepay a fee of about $18 and get a ticket for that day to enter the city. This also applies to residents. Of course, this was so successful the politicians have now expanded the size of the central zone.

Deval … the word is “freedom,” not “feedom.”
