ToutVirtual Among First Companies to Join Microsoft Virtual Hard Disk Test Drive Program

ToutVirtual, an emerging leader in management software for virtual computing infrastructures, today announced it is one of the first independent software vendors (ISV) with a virtualization software appliance for Microsoft's Virtual Server 2005 R2. ToutVirtual will offer its Virtual IQ Pro for Microsoft as a software appliance -- turnkey and pre-configured for easy installation as part of Microsoft's Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) Test Drive Program.

VirtualIQ Pro for Microsoft is a ready-to-run software appliance for monitoring and controlling the entire virtualization management stack. It provides capacity planning information with real time and historical data on physical and virtual host utilization. It is easy to deploy, supports multiple virtual platforms under one console, provides event-based alerting, and brings virtual infrastructure management to a new level of simplicity. ToutVirtual's VirtualIQ Pro for Microsoft is scalable to support medium to large enterprises with demanding virtual environments and is a solution for those who are using Microsoft VHD on Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 to manage other platforms such as VMware, XenSource XenEnterprise, Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 and SUSE Linux Enterprise from Novell. VirtualIQ Pro for Microsoft software appliance supports up to 10 CPUs and has no restrictions on number of virtual machines.
