Microsoft Demonstrates Lumigent's Entegra and Log Explorer Software on Microsoft SQL Server as Mission-Critical Database Auditing and Recovery Solutions
Lumigent Technologies, Inc, today announced that the company's award-winning data auditing solutions have been selected by Microsoft to be demonstrated at Microsoft Technology Centers, where enterprise customers can evaluate a customized technology solution before deployment in their own environments.
The Microsoft Technology Centers, in Austin, Boston, Chicago, Reston (VA), Redmond (WA), Silicon Valley and world wide, are state of the art facilities staffed by technology experts, and supported by industry leaders to allow customers to envision, architect, and prove out solutions to their business problems.
"Working with companies like Lumigent, our enterprise customers can develop their systems with best-of-breed products," noted Adam Hecktman, Director, Microsoft Technology Center-Chicago. "As our customers prove out solutions, they will be able to include Entegra, which provides audit ability for data stored in Microsoft SQL Server databases. Entegra helps organizations reduce the significant business risks associated with the use of corporate data, and meet compliance regulations by maintaining the integrity of their data. With Entegra, enterprises have a consolidated audit trail with information on who accesses and changes corporate data."
"The Microsoft Technology Centers let us work hand-in-hand with customers to optimize their database auditing solution to fully comply with today's regulatory requirements, such as Sarbanes-Oxley," said Clifford Pollan, CEO of Lumigent. "The availability of Lumigent software in the Microsoft Technology Centers makes it easier for customers to develop a complete solution and is a further extension of joint marketing efforts that our two companies have undertaken."
Lumigent participates with Microsoft at industry events and conferences; most recently, the two companies appeared together at the SIA Technology Management Conference. Lumigent and Microsoft sales representatives team up to jointly deliver solutions to SQL Server customers. In April of this year, Microsoft named Lumigent a recommended supplier to provide trusted data auditing solutions to customers of Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
Lumigent, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, markets Entegra, an enterprise-level data auditing software solution that reduces corporate risk by providing regulatory-required audit trails and helping to assure the integrity, accuracy, and security of enterprise data. Entegra helps enterprises meet the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EUDPA, the USA PATRIOT Act, and other regulations that compel enterprises to provide records on data access. With Entegra, companies can address strategic and regulatory pressures by understanding who is doing what to the enterprise's databases and data.
The company also markets Log Explorer, the only database tool that makes direct use of the Microsoft SQL Server transaction log to analyze database activity without overhead, solve elusive application or user problems, quickly and selectively recover data online, and salvage data when traditional recovery techniques fail.
