Learning Tree Introduces New Course on Deploying Virtual Server and Workstation Technology

Learning Tree International (NASDAQ NM:LTRE) today announced a new title to its technology curriculum, Deploying Virtual Server and Workstation Technology: Hands-On.

During the 4-day course, an expert instructor will lead attendees in a wide range of exercises designed for the purpose of gaining immediate experience in deploying and administering virtual machines (VMs).

Participants will also be taught how to...

-- Implement VMware and Microsoft VM technologies

-- Combine Windows and Linux workstations and servers on a single platform

-- Leverage VMs to build testing, support and training environments

-- Decrease operating costs by partitioning physical servers

-- Migrate from physical to virtual machines

"Attendees of this course will have the opportunity to gain knowledge that will enable them to select and successfully deploy the proper virtual machine product for their environment," said Jennifer Urick, Vice President of Product Development for Learning Tree International.

Deploying Virtual Server and Workstation Technology: Hands-On is valuable for anyone who maintains or provides support for workstations and servers, including those responsible for testing environments, training facilities, support centers, OS migrations or data center operations.

Deploying Virtual Server and Workstation Technology: Hands-On augments existing Learning Tree courses, including Hands-On PC Configuration and Troubleshooting, Advanced PC Configuration, Troubleshooting and Data Recovery, Disaster Recovery Planning for the Enterprise and Linux Server Installation and Configuration: Hands-On.
