Google to open innovation centre in Poland
WARSAW, April 12 (Xinhua) — American Internet company Google is to open an innovation center in Wroclaw, southwestern Poland in the coming months, reported the Polish news agency PAP on Thursday.
“The innovation center will help the company meet growing demands on the part of its users working in different languages,” said Google in a published report.
Google selected Wroclaw as the location because of its access to well-educated graduates, economic stability and solid infrastructure. The center is expected to employ 200 local people during the next two years.
Google has already opened a sales office here in the Polish capital and is launching a research and development center in Cracow, southern Poland.
