Visible Path Adds Social Network Service to SuiteTwo Business Internet Suite, Powered By Intel

Posted on: Tuesday, 17 April 2007, 15:00 CDT

Visible Path announced today that it is collaborating with leading Web 2.0 companies and Intel to provide social network capabilities for the SuiteTwo business Internet suite, powered by Intel.

SuiteTwo, a family of interconnected services combined to improve productivity and enable high-engagement marketing, comprises business Web 2.0 capabilities from leading software companies including Six Apart, Socialtext, NewsGator, SimpleFeed, SpikeSource and Visible Path. The business-ready product suite features an integrated login and a rich user interface. It is available today through Intel's global channel of OEMs, distributors and resellers as well as participating software partners. More information about the product can be found at www.suitetwo.com.

Visible Path interfaces with all the products in SuiteTwo to give business users a seamless way to add private, trusted social network capabilities to their Web 2.0 communications. With Visible Path, professionals can map and manage relationships inside and outside the company, connect with contacts and gain insight into the relationships needed to sell, market and recruit more effectively.

Visible Path uniquely allows individuals and companies to connect their social networks while maintaining the privacy, security and control of both the individual and the company.

"Business is personal; it's about how people communicate and connect with each other. Web 2.0 makes communicating and connecting more fluid, and SuiteTwo makes it easy for companies to get started. We're thrilled to be part of this effort," said Antony Brydon, CEO of Visible Path.

Representing a fundamental shift toward open, flexible and participatory computing models, SuiteTwo is a foundation for communication that drives internal collaboration and external, high-engagement marketing.

It includes advanced Web applications that incorporate blogging, RSS, search, Wiki and social network capabilities into a single, fully integrated suite that operates on PC-based hardware. All services are integrated with a single sign-on and rich user interface.

Intel Capital, Intel's venture capital organization, pioneered the assembly of this suite. Now, Intel's Software and Solutions Group plans to take the suite to market and make the suite available through its extensive OEM and reseller sales channels as well as participating software partners.

"The SuiteTwo family makes Web 2.0 innovation accessible to the broad business community. We're excited to have Visible Path join the other leading services to provide high-engagement marketing capabilities under one interface, that will all run great on Intel hardware," said Steve Santamaria, Director of the Global Software Enabling Group, Software and Solutions Group, Intel Corporation.
