SALT LAKE CITY, April 19 /PRNewswire/ — Meosphere (http://www.meosphere.com/), the Web 2.0 site that allows users to document where they have been, what they have done and what they want to do, unveiled today the addition of Google Maps API technology that allows members to track precisely where they have been.

Meosphere users will now be able to pinpoint locations they have visited on thirty of the over 2,000 Meosphere lists. Lists that utilize the new Google Map feature include such topics as “States You’ve Fished In,”"Notable New York City Restaurants You’ve Eaten At,”"100 Busiest US Airports You’ve Been In” and “World Heritage Sites You’ve Visited.” For a full directory of map-enabled lists, visit http://www.meosphere.com/maps.

“Meosphere users tell us they don’t always remember the names of the places they have been, but they remember roughly where it was. Now they can find it again, as well as look for new places to visit,” said Eric Eliason, CEO and founder of Meosphere.

“We are excited to also launch the ‘Compare Your Meosphere’ feature. Simply share your meosphere, and others will be able to compare it with their own. Everything two users have in common is highlighted. We think comparing meospheres ought to be a mandatory pre-dating assignment,” Eliason added with a smile.

The Meosphere community is rapidly becoming the online destination for users to document their experiences through unique lists, personal or community journals and photos. Meosphere is not a competitor to MySpace, Facebook, MyFamily or other social networking sites but rather, users have the option to use a simple widget in their email signature, blog, social networking page or web site to convey their interests and experiences.

About Meosphere

Everyone has one, though most are undocumented. Launched in February of 2007, Meosphere is a Web 2.0 community that allows users to document where they have been, what they have done and what they want to do — it defines one’s own personal world, in a very personal way. Meosphere.com presents a plethora of lists ranging from trivial topics to deep life-changing experiences — and then gives users the chance to show how these items have shaped their lives and personalities.
