PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- This past weekend, 30,000 Comcast employees and their families donated 180,000 hours of service - the equivalent of more than 20 years of service in one day. Now in its fourth year, Comcast Cares Day has become an important part of the Company's commitment to the communities it serves. The Comcast Foundation also will donate over $1 million dollars in grants to the community partner organizations with which Comcast volunteers worked on the October 2 company-wide day of service.
