San Diego IT Company Selects Kaseya for Managed Services Platform; IT Service, KitRx(R), to Be The ``Best Practices'' Way for Preventing Network and Data Damage, Down-Time

EveryMethod, a leading provider of IT services for small and midsize companies in San Diego County, today announced that it has chosen to use Kaseya's Managed Server Provider software platform for its expanding customer roster. The Kaseya platform (2007 projected sales: $100 million) was developed especially for small and mid-sized businesses (five to 100 desktops) and virtually eliminates the risk of network failures and data loss, which can hit any company with substantial, unexpected costs.
EveryMethod's Kaseya-powered remote IT management service, KitRx®, is preparing to launch in San Diego County. Currently, a handful of firms are testing out various levels of the program. "It's like an insurance or maintenance plan you'd have on your car, lawn, or air conditioning," said one Beta tester. "If a lot of people depend on your network and data, the only responsible way to go is IT Managed Services."
KitRx® services, tailored to meet each customer's needs, are delivered (in highly secure encrypted form) over the net to remote desktops and servers located at customer sites. Employing a unique agent-based technology, KitRx is deployed from a centralized support center and gives business owners a strongly qualified professional team to ensure the integrity and smooth operation of their networks, as well as the secure backup storage of their data.
In assessing Kaseya and its few competitors, EveryMethod Founder and CEO Johnny Kessel weighed his own 15-year background in IT management along with the views of industry analysts, reviewers, enterprise IT managers and other service providers. His conclusion: Kaseya was clearly the superior solution for remotely delivering business-critical software across an extended enterprise.
"Business owners understand that desktop and server management in a traditional reactive, "break-fixit" manner is harmful to their business efficiencies," said Kessel. "Our KitRx® service alleviates that pain and allows a business to focus on its core competencies and its primary business objectives. Without this powerful platform, we would simply be unable to cost-effectively deliver the high level of service quality that our customers expect."
KitRx greatly reduces the need to send technicians to customer sites to resolve issues and can thus offer subscription-based network and data management for as little $50 per month per machine (desktop or notebook). In addition, support call frequency and duration are significantly reduced because all software-related support tasks are executed remotely, and new operating systems, applications, upgrades and fixes can be rolled out in hours rather than weeks.
