Skyrider, an innovator in organizing and monetizing peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, today announced that former Yahoo! Chief Operating Officer Dan Rosensweig has joined its Board of Directors. With deep media expertise and a rich history of building powerful user experiences, Mr. Rosensweig will play a key strategic role in Skyrider's growth.

"We are thrilled to have Dan, an internet media visionary and leader, join our board of directors. Dan played a key role in the growth and success of Yahoo! and we're excited to bring his talents, insights and experience to bear on our opportunity," said Ed Kozel, CEO and President, Skyrider.

"Skyrider is tackling a significant market opportunity with incredibly innovative technology," said Dan Rosensweig. "I am excited to work with the team to build robust services that deliver strong value for consumers, users, content owners and advertisers."

Mr. Rosensweig most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Yahoo!, running the operations of Yahoo! worldwide. During his tenure he oversaw product development, marketing, international operations and North America operations which encompassed the company's six business units and advertising sales. Prior to Yahoo!, Mr. Rosensweig was president of CNET Networks, a position he took following the merger of ZDNET and CNET in 2000. There he was responsible for many of the global operations and played a critical role in overseeing the successful integration of the two companies. Before joining CNET Networks, Rosensweig was an 18-year veteran of Ziff-Davis, where he lastly served as Chief Executive Officer and President of ZDNet, which he grew to a top 20 Internet site visitorship, managed to profitability, and successfully took public before the merger with CNET.

Skyrider is paving the way for the widespread commercial utilization of P2P networks with a platform that delivers enhanced experiences for P2P users and provides advertisers and content owners the opportunity to monetize their digital assets in a targeted, high volume channel. Skyrider technology includes tracking, targeting and management tools that deliver a powerful, measurable, and cost effective solution for reaching tens of millions of consumers across diverse multimedia environments. The Skyrider platform is the first of its kind available in the decentralized P2P networks where content has traditionally been difficult to control and monetize.
