Twisted Pictures and Break.Com Forge Exclusive Content Partnership
Break.com, the leading online entertainment channel for men, and Twisted Pictures, the highly successful horror/thriller division of Evolution Entertainment, announced plans today to produce the first original online horror film, appropriately called “The Internet Killer.” Ubiquity Partners packaged the deal.
Scheduled to air this summer in the form of 30 webisodes, the project will include engaging opportunities for users to create their own content for the show. The partnership leverages Twisted Pictures’ creative genius with Break.com’s online content distribution capabilities.
“Compelling and consistent programming is fast becoming the key ingredient to providing an effective platform for brands and content creators to reach consumers online,” said Keith Richman, CEO of Break.com. “The third in a series of recent professional production partnerships announced at Break.com, and the first with a major movie producer, the alignment with Twisted reinforces our commitment to delivering a high quality entertainment experience to our community.”
“It was a natural fit for us to partner with Break.com,” said Twisted’s Mark Burg and Oren Koules. “The site is at the forefront of technology, it’s the perfect platform for our viewers. They are the best at what they do and we are proud to be associated with them.”
