Rentrak's OnDemand Essentials Announces Five New Network Group Customers Including BET Networks, BlueHighways TV, Discovery Networks and Fox Cable Network, Inc, Lifetime Entertainment Services, Inc and Shalom TV, Inc

PORTLAND, Ore., May 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rentrak Corporation today announced 6 new network groups as subscribers to its OnDemand Essentials(TM) VOD measurement system. Multi-year deals have been signed with each of the network groups representing 17 On Demand network offerings.
With the addition of these 17 on demand networks, Rentrak's roster of content provider subscribers now totals more than 66 subscribers including studios, cable and broadcast networks and on demand-only networks of all content types, which offer transactional on demand, subscription on demand, free on demand and real time encoding.
